First edition (transposition)
Kummer, the great old master of the cello, also wrote a series of duets for 2 cellos. The entertaining duo in C major skilfully uses the cantabile and chordal possibilities of the instrument.
In the edition presented, the two parts are also transposed for the viola, so that a version - going beyond the original scoring - can also be used with two violas or also possible with a viola and a violoncello.
A score is included with the edition.
